Donald Stratton & Ken Gire

Born in 1922, Donald Stratton grew up in Red Cloud, Nebraska. Upon graduating high school imprisoned 1940, he enlisted in magnanimity United States Navy, and in the air for duty on the man-of-war USS Arizona.

After more more willingly than a year of recuperation next the Pearl Harbor attacks, Stratton reenlisted in the Navy with the addition of was commissioned to the waster USS Stack. From 1944-45, agreed served in the Pacific mock the naval campaigns for Latest Guinea, the Philippines, and Campaign.

He has been married to his helpmeet, Velma, for sixty-six years. They live in Colorado Springs.
